- Funday Monday PRIDE Monday, June 24th, 10:30โ11:30 a.m. Part of the ongoing Funday Monday weekly series. This event will feature a local City of Fairfax children’s librarian hosting a fun PRIDE-themed storytime. Children 3 and up will be able to make a rainbow ribbon craft, and littles will receive a rubber duck! - Pride Night Out at the Nationals Thursday, June 6th, 6โ10 p.m. The Nats return for their 19th annual Pride Night Out. Game begins at 6:45, but giveaways and other pregame activities will begin at 6.
- Capital Pride Parade Family Zone Saturday, June 8th. 10 a.m.โ3 p.m. The paradeโs Family Area is put on with help from partners including Playtime Project, DC Central Kitchen, the National Childrenโs Museum, Drag Story Hour DMV, Mermaids for Pride and Rainbow Families. Activities will include crafts, cooking demonstrations and drag story time.
- Uptown Pride Saturday, June 15th, 2โ7 p.m. With a focus on uptown D.C. neighborhoods, this beloved community celebration returns with Drag Story Hour, family yoga, kids activities, games and more in the revamped family zone.
- Tie-Dye Pride Shirts Saturday, June 15th, 4โ5 p.m. Go to Juanita E. Thornton Library for a splash of color and celebration. This all-ages program invites you to express your pride with vibrant tie-dye T-shirts, so you can create wearable art while fostering a sense of community and inclusivity.ย

- Rockville Pride Sunday, June 2nd, 3โ5 p.m. An all-ages, wheelchair-accessible Pride celebration at Rockville Town Square. Children can enjoy arts, crafts and other youth-focused activities. Rockville, Md.
- HoCo Pride Sunday, June 9th, 9:30 a.m.โ1 p.m. Color Burst Park has never hosted a more fitting event for its name than HoCo Pride. With a pet parade (prizes for best costume), drag story time, chalk art activities, vendors, games and more, youโll have plenty to do at this festival. Columbia, Md.
- Perler Bead Pride Flags Saturday, June 15th, 11 a.m.โ12 p.m. Children can go to Rockville Memorial Library to learn about the history of Pride and the pride flag, then create a pride flag of their own using Perler beads (grades 3-5) or paper, markers and more (grades K-2). This hands-on activity will stimulate your child’s creativity and imagination, while helping them develop critical fine motor skills. Rockville, Md.
- Pride Family Day at Glen Echo Park Saturday, June 22nd, 11 a.m.โ2 p.m. Gather at the bumper car pavilion for hands-on arts & crafts, temporary tattoos, carousel rides (free tickets while supplies last!), live music, rainbow treats and a special backdrop for a family photo op. Discounted tickets to local children’s theaters and the aquarium will be available, too.
