National Memorial Day Concert Monday, May 27th, 8 p.m. A national tradition! Watch a live concert with military performers and performing arts stars right outside the Capitol building. Gates open at 5 p.m. If you can’t make it in person, you can watch it on PBS.
National Memorial Day Parade 2024 Monday, May 27th, 2 p.m. Before the parade starts, check out the musical performances at 1 p.m., then enjoy a parade with WWII veterans as grand marshals and Drew Carey and Anthony Anderson hosting.
Rolling To Remember Sunday, May 26th, 12 p.m. Motorcyclists from across the nation will join together for a ride from Arlington National Cemetery to the Lincoln Memorial for a candlelight vigil. Watch them along their route or join them for the vigil at the path’s end.

Falls Church Memorial Day Parade & Festival Monday, May 27th, 9 a.m.-5 p.m. An all-day festival of food, inflatables, vendors and live entertainment. The parade will begin at 2 p.m.
Flowers of Remembrance Day Sunday, May 26th, 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Remember fallen soldiers at Arlington Cemetery by placing a provided flower on headstones throughout the cemetery. A history talk will be given at 10 a.m.
Manassas National Battlefield Park Saturday, May 25th-Monday, May 27th, 9:30 a.m.-5 p.m. Enjoy special demonstrations, tours and childrens’ activities throughout the weekend. At noon on Monday, the Green Machine Regiment Band will be giving a special performance on the side patio.
Memorial Day Weekend at the National Army Museum Friday, May 24th – Monday, May 27th, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. Learn about the stories of soldiers and the history of our Armed Forces. Check the website for times for specific activities such as poppy paper flower-making, hands-on history and Tiny Troops story time.

Bowie Memorial Day Parade Saturday, May 25th, 11 a.m. Celebrate Memorial Day with a parade beginning on Sussex Drive and continuing on through Sussex Lane. Bring your own seating or sit on the bleachers by the reviewers’ stand. Refreshments will be sold on Stonybrook Drive.
Gaithersburg Memorial Day Observance Thursday, May 30th, 11 a.m.–12 p.m. A ceremony honoring our fallen troops, in which guests will be invited to create a card and provide a four-inch by six-inch photograph of a current or former service member from their life to be put in the Book of Tribute.
Rockville Memorial Day Ceremony and Parade Monday, May 27th, 9 a.m. Beginning with a musical tribute, then a ceremony at 9:30 a.m. and parade at 10:30 a.m., this multipart celebration is a local tradition.
