March 23: National Community Church Eggstravaganza

For over 20 years, Eggstravaganza has been hosted by National Community Church, and it returns again this year, offering games, prizes, face painting, and of course, an egg hunt at Lincoln Park in D.C.

March 23: Tudor Place Eggstravaganza!

Historic Tudor Place is hosting their annual Easter event on their South Lawn, with an egg hunt, egg roll, crafts and a chance to meet with the Easter Bunny. Tickets are almost sold out, so if you’re interested, act fast.

April 1: Easter Monday at the National Zoo

A treasured D.C. tradition, the Great Meadow at the Smithsonian National Zoo will once again host an Easter Monday morning egg hunt for guests who have reserved zoo passes for that day. Interactive tables at the event will showcase the zoo’s offerings, animal focused careers and scientists with a shared passion for the animal kingdom.

March 23: Egg-ceptional Egg Hunt Egg-stravaganza

Young explorers can come to Calvert Park to search for eggs while their families enjoy cocoa, cookies and live music. Also, you didn’t hear this from me, but it’s rumored that the famous Peter Cottontail will be making an appearance at this event!

March 23: Montgomery Co. 4th District Easter Egg Hunt

Montgomery County Police Department is hosting an Easter egg hunt at Wheaton Regional Park, with games, music, balloon animals and face painting.

March 23: United Methodist Easter Egg Hunt

An afternoon egg hunt accompanied by games, crafts, cookie decorating and a moon bounce is what you can expect at this Epworth United Methodist Easter season event!

March 23, 24, 30: Walkersville Southern Railroad Bunny Train

Take a ride on the historic Walkersville Southern Railroad, and be ready for a visit from Mr. Bunny, who visits each patron with a photo opportunity and gift for the children aboard, located in Walkersville Md.

March 30: Easter Eggtravaganza at Bladensburg Waterfront Park

Come down to the waterfront for the 4th annual Easter celebration organized by Women Offering Wealth. You’ll get to experience a day full of games, food from local vendors, giveaways, crafts and fun for the whole family. 

March 23-31: Clark’s Elioaks Farm Egg Hunts

Young visitors to Clark’s Elioaks’ petting farm in Ellicott City can also enjoy an egg hunt this Easter season, included in the price of admission, and turn in their eggs for goodie bags. 

Virginia

March 23: Aqua Egg Hunt

Children can compete to collect as many sinking and floating eggs as possible at Herndon Community Center Pool in the time allowed. Prizes for all are available. Enjoy time at the indoor pool by participating in this unique egg hunt style!

March 23: Ida Lee Park Easter Egg Hunt

Search the bunny trails for Easter eggs at Ida Lee Park! All participants will receive treat bags and be entered into the raffle for the grand prize baskets. Be sure to preregister for this Leesburg event, as no day-of registration is allowed. 

March 23-24, 26-31: Spring Egg Hunt

A new kind of egg hunt that serves as a park-wide scavenger hunt is available at Potomac Overlook Regional Park in Arlington! Families can sign up on-site and enjoy nature while filling out a scavenger sheet, before turning it in for a prize. 

March 28: Egg-Streme Egg Hunt

Kids aged 10-14 can come to Historic Blenheim in Fairfax for an after-dark egg hunt. Work together to track down eggs blanketed in the shroud of night, if you think you can handle it! Preregistration required.

March 30: Hoppy Egg Hunting

You can register now for children ages 9 and under to participate in a Saturday morning Easter egg hunt, while enjoying crafts, music, games and a photo opportunity with the Easter Bunny, all set in scenic Bready Park, Herndon, Va.

March 30: Messick’s Farm Easter Festival

Come to Messick’s Farm for a full day of Easter fun, including an egg hunt, temporary tattoos, a zipline, a bounce pillow, wooden egg decorating, a barrel train ride, and more!
