Maryland
Butler’s Orchard
Montgomery County’s beloved farm and pumpkin patch will be hosting its 43rd Annual Pumpkin Festival this fall. While reservations aren’t required, they are strongly encouraged, as tickets sell out most weekends. Pumpkin patch fanatics can inquire about Butler’s Orchard season passes for unlimited visits to their Fall Festival merriment. The 2023 Pumpkin Festival starts September 23rd – October 29th.

Jumbo’s Pumpkin Patch
Jumbo’s is a lovely little patch that’s sure to be one of your favorite pumpkin patches near D.C. Admission to the farm is free on weekdays and they host a Farm Festival on weekends (for an admission price) that gets your family unlimited hayrides and access to their 20-acre corn maze. 2023 Season September 23rd – October 31st.

Rock Hill Orchard and Woodbourne Creamery
Starting in late September, families can visit Rock Hill Orchard and their adjoining Woodbourne Creamery for an authentic agricultural experience. After picking your own pumpkins,visit the calves at the dairy and watch how they milk the cows. As you might expect, they sell delicious ice cream and milk onsite. Pumpkin Patch will open September 23rd.

Great Country Farms
Tickets are required on weekdays and weekends at Great Country Farms and include wagon rides to their pumpkin patches. Also included with admission are a corn maze, pumpkin shooting from a cannon, and their locally-renowned ‘Oinkin’tucky Derby Pig Races. Fall Pumpkin Harvest Festival October 1st – October 31st.

Wegmeyer Farms
Wegmeyer Farms boasts over 50 different varieties of pumpkins for your family to choose from! All pumpkin pickers must reserve a time slot and tickets ahead of your visit, which includes the first $25 of pumpkins you pick. Take note of the no-till patches, which make for a clean and mud-free picking experience. The 2023 Pumpkin season starts September 24th.
