What is the state of summer camps in 2022?
We sat down with representatives from a range of camps across the DMV; from day to sleep-away, co-ed to single sex, arts, therapeutic, sports, academic, young kids, big kids, Virginia, DC and Maryland, to get the lowdown on the state of summer camps in 2022.
We’ve all been struggling to make plans due to the ever-changing landscape of the COVID-19 pandemic; restrictions, vaccines, new strains. However, our discussion, hosted by Coach Deborah Porter, shed light on many of the uncertainties we’ve all been dealing with the past two years.
The verdict? Camp is ON! With a few extra precautions, additional safety features and back-up plans, summer 2022 is shaping up to be one we won’t forget!
