Zak Sandler
Zak Sandler has played piano on Broadway for "Wicked," "Mean Girls," "Motown," and "The Color Purple." He has music-directed and conducted at The Kennedy Center, Goodspeed Opera House, Lyric Theatre of Oklahoma, Dallas Theater Center, TheatreWorks, TONY award-winning Signature Theatre, and The Public Theater. He recently performed sections from his musical, "Inside My Head," at the Kennedy Center's Millennium Stage.
Zak has conducted many vocal ensembles including the Yale Spizzwinks (the premiereunderclassman all-male a cappella group at Yale) and MasterVoices, run by Broadway conductor Ted Sperling. He loves teaching because it allows us to explore inside ourselves through music and having fun doing it!
