Emma Jaster is a director, choreographer and educator working in D.C., N.Y.C. and internationally. She worked on her first opera when her son was 5 months old, riding on her back in every rehearsal. Now at age 5, he will correct you if you call a theorbo a “guitar.” Emma co-leads Opera Lafayette’s family program Opera starts with Oh! Online for a D.C.- and New York City-based professional opera company, Opera Lafayette.
