Divya Vakkalanka is an intern for Washington Parent and a senior at Northwest High School. She loves writing, debating and playing the flute. Living in Montgomery County, MD for most of her life, Divya has been involved in local politics, runs the local election for the student member of the board of education and loves to explore the food scene in her free time!
