Nominate Your Favorite Washington Parent Picks Today!

It’s that time of year again when we need your help in finding the best of the best in the DMV! We are excited to launch the 2023 Washington Parent Picks and invite you to nominate your favorite parent-approved businesses and resources in the area.

The Nomination Round begins on June 1st and runs through June 30th.

During this period, parents like you can nominate the attractions, destinations, health practices, private schools, summer camps, after-school activities, pet photographers, toy stores, dining spots, and more that you believe deserve recognition. Nominations are crucial as ONLY the top 3-5 businesses with the most nominations in each category will move on to the Voting Round!

Remember, you can nominate once a day per category, so make sure to check back daily to support your favorites. With your participation, you can play a significant role in shaping the results of the Washington Parent Picks 2023.

To submit your nominations, simply CLICK HERE TO NOMINATE. We appreciate your valid email address to ensure the integrity of the process. After the nomination period ends, we will tally the nominations for each category. Then, we will compile the top 3-5 businesses and organizations for the voting ballots.  Nominations will be tallied for each category and the resulting top 3-5 businesses and organizations will be in the voting ballots starting on August 1, 2023.

A few important guidelines to keep in mind:

  • Participants can nominate in one, two, or multiple categories, so feel free to recognize excellence across various areas.
  • You are allowed to nominate once per day per category, maximizing your support for your preferred businesses.
  • Please ensure you have a valid email address to validate your nominations.
  • To maintain fairness, any form of ballot stuffing, including robo-voting or automated scripting, will result in voiding the submitted votes.
  • Nominations must be for businesses serving the Washington, D.C. metro area.
  • We reserve the right to disqualify nominations that do not meet the stated requirements.
