Washington Parent Picks 2025: Voting Kicks Off July 1
We asked. You answered. With more than 22,300 nominations submitted in May, families across the D.C. metro area showed up to support the businesses, services and resources they rely on—and now it’s time to vote!
The Washington Parent Picks 2025 voting round begins July 1 and runs through July 31. Readers can vote once per day in each category to help determine which finalists will be named the best in the region.
From summer camps and pediatricians to tutoring centers, toy stores, preschools and more, the finalists represent the places and professionals making a difference in family life. Winners will be announced in late August and featured in the September 2025 digital edition of Washington Parent and on WashingtonParent.com.

Guidelines to Keep in Mind:
- You may nominate in one, several or all categories.
- Submissions are limited to one nomination per day per category.
- A valid email address is required to confirm and validate each nomination.
- Nominations must be for businesses that serve families in the DC metro area.
- Ballot stuffing, robo-voting or automated submissions are not allowed and will be disqualified.
- Washington Parent reserves the right to disqualify any nomination that does not meet these requirements.
- Finalists and Winners will be promoted in our September digital issue, on WashingtonParent.com and across our social media platforms through the next awards season.
