– Read Like a Champion This Summer!
The Washington Nationals have
partnered with library systems in the DMV region to help bring summer
reading to as many people as possible. Children ages 6-18 who complete
their local library’s summer reading program will have the opportunity to
win tickets to a future Nationals game.

minutes a day and record progress on a paper gameboard. Books, magazines
and blogs count as reading material. Submit completed gameboards via email

streaks (reading done in consecutive days) and compete in online games.
Every time a child participates, Scholastic will donate books to children
in need. (May 4 – September 7)

– Summer Reading Journal for kids in grades 1 – 6. Read
any eight books, write down favorite parts of book on a paper journal
sheet, submit to the store and pick out a free book from a list! (July 1 –
August 31)

– Summer Reading adventure for kids. Read any four books
from the summer reading adventure section, write down some details about
the book on a paper log, submit to the store and get a free Dog Man logo
baseball cap! (While supplies last.)
