MARYLAND
Baugher’s Orchard & Farm
Baugherโs Orchard & Farm is a 600-acre operation and one of the largest orchards in Maryland. Jump on a scenic wagon ride to the fields and pick your own peaches, nectarines and plums.

Butler’s Orchard
In addition to their fresh Farm Market and Farm Park, which are open Tuesdays-Sundays, 8:30 a.m.-6 p.m., Butlerโs Orchard is a top pick for berry picking. The orchard is conveniently located off I-270 in Germantown. Butlerโs Orchard can get very busy in the summer season, so they do require reservations for fruit picking.

Homestead Farm
Homestead Farm is a peaceful retreat away from the city. With pick-your-own options for every season, Homestead is a family-run farm with animals and fresh produce. Through July-August, you can find peaches (yellow and white) and thornless blackberries.

Kings Berries
Kings Berries farm encompasses over six acres of land, containing multiple varieties of pick-your-own blueberries and blackberries. While King Berries grows seven types of blueberries, they are consistently large and sweet in flavor regardless of variety. There are also two varieties of blackberries for picking: Chester, which ripen early and are sweeter, and Freedom, which are larger and ripen later. Both types of blackberries are thornless.

Itโs not only berries at Larriland Farm! The Red Barn is filled with sweet cherries, blueberries, zucchini, summer squash, cucumbers, red beets, bicolor sweet corn, honey from the bees at Larriland and many items that are grown or handcrafted locally. The Farm recommends giving them a call before you hop in the car, as they will close early if the crops have been well picked.

Rock Hill Orchard
Rock Hill Orchard offers a variety of pick-your-own options including blueberries, blackberries and peaches available 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Visitors can also cut colorful flowers, including annuals, perennials, lavender and sunflowers. Rock Hill Orchard also contains a dedicated pick-your-own herb area, with a wide selection of annual and perennial herbs and tools provided at the market. Note, farm entry closes at 3 p.m., and pets are not allowed on the premises.

Swann Farm, located in northern Calvert County, offers a classic pick-your-own fruit experience for visitors.
