Omnium Circus, hailed as “America’s most inclusive and accessible circus,” fresh from a successful fall 2024 tour, is taking its extraordinary show, I’m Possible, on the road this spring. Beginning on February 22 at Washington, D.C.’s historic Warner Theatre, Omnium’s spring tour brings the magic of their limit-defying performances across the United States. The Circus of the Future
Omnium’s I’m Possible, which just took home Gold recognition in the 2024 Anthem Awards’ Diversity, Equity & Inclusion – Community Event category, has been called “truly the circus of the future” by DC Metro Arts, and “genuinely extraordinary” by The New York Times. The show features an inspiring lineup of talented performers, including aerialists, contortionists, jugglers, acrobats, dancers, musicians and comedians. With its uplifting message of perseverance and joy, the production is designed to offer a fun and meaningful experience for the whole family. This jam-packed performance brings together generations of multitalented, multi-abled and culturally diverse artists in a spectacular show that transcends traditional circus expectations.

At the heart of Omnium’s mission is its dedication to inclusion and representation. As the only circus in the world presented bilingually in both English and American Sign Language (ASL), Omnium is breaking down barriers to create a more accessible circus experience for all. The circus offers a wide range of accommodations to ensure every audience member feels welcomed, including live audio description, tactile experiences for individuals with visual impairments and relaxed seating for neurodivergent and sensory-sensitive attendees. This relaxed seating option allows audience members to express themselves freely, with extra space, movement and vocalization welcomed.

Lisa B. Lewis is founder & executive director of Omnium: A Bold New Circus. Lisa began as a graduate of Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Clown College and has a bachelor’s degree from Brandeis and a master’s in clown/circus history from NYU. She cofounded the Super Scientific Circus and worked for the Big Apple Circus. Her mission with Omnium is including and welcoming the world’s beautiful human mosaic, creating joy for all regardless of the body they inhabit or the skin they are in.
