Easter Egg Hunts

April 6, 7: Egg Hunt and Marshmallow Harvest at Great Country Farms. Times vary. $$. The first crop of the spring season is marshmallow picking. Meet some baby animals and take a wagon ride as well. April 7: Sensory-Friendly Easter Bunny at Dulles Town Center. 9-10:30 a.m. For any individual with a disability, this Easter Bunny provides a private photo session to provide to those who have sensory-overload. Photo sessions provide a comfortable, friendly environment. Visits are free, but photo packages are available to purchase at the event. 21100 Dulles Town Circle Dulles, Virginia 20166-2400.

April 13, 14, 18-21: Easter Egg Hunt at Green Meadows Petting Farm. Times vary. $$. Come visit one of three hunts a day at 11 a.m., 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. varied by age. Meet the farm's Easter Bunny, Whiskers, for some pictures. The event also includes regular petting farm fun like cow milking, wagon riding and pig racing. 10102 Fingerboard Rd. Ijamsville, MD 21754.

April 13, 18, 19, 20: Eggstravaganza at Tudor Palace. 10 a.m. to noon. $$. Due to popular demand, the classic Easter egg hunt and egg roll at the historic landmark will have a fourth date for the first time. Kids can decorate a festive animal magnet, make a jumbo egg for a hanging decoration and have a chance for photo ops with the Easter Bunny. Tudor Place House and Gardens, 1644 31st Street NW. April 13, 14, 20, 21: Easter-Eggstravaganza at Roer's Zoo Safari. 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. $$. Hop along and enjoy a free-roaming safari. Meet animals including zebras, buffaloes and emus, while one can also can feed some of the animals like giraffes as well. There will also be an egg hunt for children aged 0-12. 1228 Hunter Mill Rd. April 14: Adult Easter Egg Hunt at Great Country Farms. 12-4 p.m. $$. Adults can join in on the fun, too, incorporating a hunt for adults including over a thousand treat-filled eggs. There will also be prizes, including a stay at Bluemont Vineyard's Stone Cottage and a host of candy. April 19, 20, 21: Easter Egg Hunt Lee-Fendall House. Times vary per date. $$. The Lee-Fendall House brings its 20th annual Easter egg hunt in Alexandria, VA. The house and the Easter Bunny have placed hundreds of goodies-filled Easter eggs. Other activities for kids include games and prizes, a temporary tattoo and sticker station and Easter Bunny photo ops. April 20: Easter Egg Hunt at Cherry Hill Park. 10-11 a.m. Free. Bring some baskets and the park will supply the candy and the special eggs. April 20, 21: Egg Hunt Weekend at Clark's Elioak Farm. 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. $. Egg hunts happen all day in intervals of 30 minutes, while the petting farm and rides are open all day. April 21: Easter Egg-Stravaganza Hunt & Brunch at West Belmont Place. 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. $$. Bring your Easter baskets for two hunts for children aged 4 and under and 5-12. Adults can enjoy a champagne brunch with waffle and seafood stations, while children can enjoy a fare with the Junior Easter Bunny. April 22: Smithsonian Easter Monday and Earth Optimism Celebartion. 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. This year the Smithsonian's National Zoo and Conservation Biology Institute's Easter Monday event coincides with Earth Day and the Zoo's Earth Optimism celebration. Families can enjoy live music, meet-and-greets with scientists and conservationists, special animal demonstrations and Smithsonian conservation stories on top of the egg hunt. 3001 Connecticut Ave., N.W. April 6: Bunnies, Baskets and Bordeaux at Potomac Point Winery. 1-4 p.m. $$. This isn't just any lunch buffet; for the adults, search for eggs and find some prizes. April 13: Breakfast with the Easter Bunny at Dave & Buster's. 8:30-10:30 a.m. $$. Attending the event gives early exclusive access to Dave and Buster's, including the Million Dollar Midday which is packed with various games. April 13: Delilah's Easter Hop at Freedom Hill Horse Rescue. 1-3:30 p.m. $$. This party will be a fun-filled event, including storytimes, crafting and bunny hops. There will also be basket decorating for the horses. 7940 Flint Hill Road Owings, MD 20736.

April 13: Parent & Me Class - Easter Cupcakes at Fran's Cake and Candy Supplies. 2-4 p.m. $$. Join a class make the most festive Easter cupcakes, led by Mayra Garcia from celebrateMe! April 13: Breakfast with the Easter Bunny at Maggiano's Little Italy. 8:30-10:30 a.m. $$. Enjoy a buffet that includes an omelet station and the "Bunny Butt Pancakes." April 14: Easter Fun Run at Colin Powell Elementary School. 9-11:30 a.m. Free. The Impact Church hosts a family fun run to support the IBMC Children's Home in South Asia. The 1.5K run will also include Easter-based stations alongside the event. The route is stroller-friendly, so everyone can participate. April 14: Photos with the Easter Bunny at Westridge Swim & Racket Club. 12-3:30 p.m. Free. Join alongside the Easter Bunny for photos with children. April 20: Cookie Decorating at Fran's Cake and Candy Supplies. 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. $$. Sweeten up your Easter with a class also led by Mayra Garcia to color your own royal icing to fill and outline cookies. Students will receive 10 pre-baked cookies to decorate.
