Gaithersburg Book Festival
The Gaithersburg Book Festival is a free celebration of great books and great writing for the whole family. The festival’s popular Children’s Village is full of literary fun, including presentations and book signings by dozens of children’s authors, writing workshops and engaging activities. The Jurassic Encounter
Feel the ROAR in Northern Virginia! The Jurassic Encounter Dinosaur Walk-Thru runs for 10 days only: May 20-May 30. This family fun adventure will be at Bull Run Special Events Center. Get up close with over 50 life-size animatronic & static figures. Enjoy digging for bones, photo ops and much more!
Boar’s Head Resort
The Boomerang Family Getaway allows parents to enjoy all that Boar’s Head Resort and Charlottesville, Va. have to offer while children are fully entertained with kid-friendly activities. Kids play at camp during the day while parents can enjoy the resort or tour Charlottesville. Families reunite in the evenings for together-time.
