It's "Dino Summer" at the Smithsonian's National Zoo

The Smithsonian's National Zoo's "Dino Summer" from June 1 - August 31 features "Earth's Dinosaur Zoo Live," a ticketed theater production featuring a larger-than-life cast of dinosaurs, and "DinoRoars," an outdoor exhibit of six animatronic dinosaurs that move and roar, including a life-size T. rex. Admission to the Zoo and "DinoRoars" is free.

2019 Celebrate Fairfax! Festival

The 38th annual Celebrate Fairfax! Festival is being held June 7-9, 2019 at the Fairfax County Government Center. Festival highlights include family programming, craft beer, Virginia wine, a silent disco, 40+ thrilling carnival rides, nightly fi reworks and headlining performances by Better Than Ezra and Smash Mouth.

Hop on Board Bethesda Big Train

The Bethesda Big Train baseball team came to fruition through the passion and charitable work of the Bethesda Community Baseball Club. A summer collegiate baseball team, the Big Train delights fans and aspires to be role models for the region's younger generation, showing them that they can play baseball at a high level by putting their college studies first. The club participates in the Cal Ripken Collegiate Baseball League and gives local fans plenty to cheer about while enjoying family fun out this summer. The Bethesda Big Train offers camps and picnic parties too.
